Shermichael Singleton studied Political Science at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. Singleton is no stranger to the world of politics, having worked on the presidential campaigns of former U.S. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, former Republican presidential nominee Governor Mitt Romney, and Dr. Ben Carson.

He also worked for the Republican opposition research firm, America Rising, which played a crucial role in nearly every major race during the 2014 Republican midterm victories.

SIngleton is a weekly commentator on NewsOne Now on TvOne and is also a political contributor to the Washington, DC-based political newspaper, The Hill. He has also appeared on C-SPAN in a 1-hour taping on his op:ed titled, "Is Trump the new Barry Goldwater?"

Shermichael has analyzed politics and culture on panels featured at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, George Washington University, and Case Western University.
